Casper started his career at Catalyst Corporate Finance Lawyers, acting for startups and venture capital-backed technology and biotechnology companies on financings and corporate commercial matters. He moved to Davis LLP (now DLA Piper), working on M&A, IPOs, reverse takeovers, CPC qualifying transactions and spinouts, and then practised securities law at Lang Michener (now McMillan LLP).
Outside private practice, he has worked as in-house counsel, in corporate finance structuring and financing transactions, and on the client side leading acquisitions and going-public transactions. He has also founded capital pool companies and taken them through qualifying transactions, including the QT that took Yellowhead Mining public.
Casper has served as a director of private and publicly traded companies, and of charitable foundations.
He founded Mountainview Corporate Law in 2026. Clients work with Casper directly on every matter, from the first call to closing.
